Approved Gourock Residential Development Comes To Market

A superb 1.75-acre site with local authority approval to create 22 x 3 bedroom semi-detached houses has been made available to purchase on the site of the former McPherson Centre in upper Gourock.

The land is bounded by Tower Drive, Jacobs Drive and McPherson Drive, with the centre having now been demolished and the site cleared and ready for development.

The computer-generated images attached provide an idea of the overall size, location and house style approved by Inverclyde Council.

Recent nearby housing developments include Kirn Gardens by Merchant Homes and McTaggart's Cowal Court Development at Cowal View.

Gourock is a thriving town with high demand for residential units. As a result, this plot of land is expected to be popular with developers and buyers alike, with Bowman Rebecchi retaining a waiting list of interested parties for potential buyers.

A Planning Application for the proposed erection of 22 no. 3 bedroom semi-detached houses, access road, open space and associated works (20/0099/IC) was approved by Inverclyde Council in September 2021.

Our client is seeking offers exclusive of VAT for their Heritable interest.

Bowman Rebecchi Director, Marco Rebecchi said:

"We are delighted to bring this site to the market on behalf of our clients and expect there to be interest from across the UK in the development.

"With the former centre now demolished and the Council having approved the Planning Application, this is a great opportunity for a developer to deliver highly sought-after houses.

"Bowman Rebecchi has seen a lot of demand from buyers for the units, which will give potential purchasers further comfort."
