Bowman Rebecchi Gives Support to Gourock Rotary Christmas Appeal

The Rotary Club of Gourock has launched its annual Christmas toy appeal, with Bowman Rebecchi supporting and encouraging other local businesses to donate.

Members hope individuals and businesses will back the effort, which is looking to receive generous support from local companies.

Gourock Rotary Club helped to buy Christmas presents for disadvantaged children during the 2020 festive period, raising £4,000 and are aiming to repeat the success this year.

President Jim Blair, pictured above on the right with former President Douglas Brands, said:

“We wish to try to help to ease the financial pressure by ensuring children in this district will not go without a gift this coming Christmas Day.

“We have made it our mission to try to help children and families at Christmas who might otherwise go without presents on this magical day.

“Any member of the public wishing to donate, no matter how much, will be gratefully received.”

Bowman Rebecchi Letting Director, Riccardo Giovanacci said:

"It is fantastic to continue our support for the Gourock Rotary Club and we'd like to see as many local businesses support as possible.

"2021 has been another difficult year for many families and children, and we wish Jim and the Rotary well with their fundraising target.

A target of £2,000 has been set — donations can be made online or into the Rotary Club of Gourock bank account — Sort Code. 83-22-20 - Account Number 00719173.

Any spare funds raised will be given to buy food for those in need.
