New Tenant Set For Bishopton Industrial Unit

A new long-term tenancy has been agreed upon for this unique industrial unit as part of Craigton Farm in Bishopton.

Planning permission (22/0476/PP) was been successfully gained from Renfrewshire Council to develop this agricultural storage building at Craigton Farm in Bishopton into a general industrial unit, with alterations including a roller shutter, internal office, tea prep area, and external parking area.

Craigton farm is surrounded by agricultural land, with the M8 approximately 40m to the east. The farm comprises the main farmhouse and a number of ancillary barns and outbuildings arranged around a central yard area and a Y-shaped network of roads.

The building is located on the northeastern edge of the farm and comprises a single-storey building with a dual-pitched roof and linear footprint. The building is constructed from brick with corrugated sheet metal to the roof. The exterior walls are painted white.

Following the successful Planning Application, the main external alteration associated with the development comprises the installation of a roller shutter door to the northeast gable elevation.

The other existing window and door openings on the northwest and southwest elevations will be reinstated. The grass area around the building will be formalised to include parking and maneuvering space for vehicles.

With excellent access to the A8/M8 and private land and grounds, this is the perfect property for the new tenant with further details to follow.
