Property Firm Bowman Rebecchi Targets Further Growth After Hike In Revenue

Inverclyde’s largest independently owned property firm Bowman Rebecchi has celebrated two years in business with a substantial rise in revenues, an expansion into residential letting, an office expansion and further recruitment.

The Gourock-based firm has reported a 165% rise in turnover, with several new clients as well as growth into the public sector, all despite the uncertain economic climate throughout the year.

In January 2021, global property analysts CoStar recognised Bowman Rebecchi as the fourth most-active single branch in Scotland, based on square footage let, with the business aiming to better this in 2022.

The growth has seen the business expand into neighbouring Argyll, Ayrshire, and Renfrewshire, with customers and properties now spreading from Kilmarnock to Bishopton, including Dunoon.

As well as financial growth, Bowman Rebecchi expanded its portfolio into residential letting, which included the acquisition of Castle Estates in April 2021.

Director, Andrew Bowman, pictured left, stated: “It has been a hugely positive period for the business, with several new clients from both the public and private sectors across the west coast supporting our client-centric approach.

“We set ambitious targets for year two, and the fact that we have been able to achieve and exceed our targets is testament to the implementation of our strategy and our teams.

"It continues to be an exciting time and our pipeline is strong for 2022. We continue to be grateful to our existing and new clients for their ongoing support and relationships.”

Bowman Rebecchi Letting is a joint venture with Riccardo Giovanacci, Managing Director of Glasgow property firm, Newton Letting.

In May 2021, both firms alongside Rebecchi Architectural relocated into new offices in Gourock town centre, bringing all of its services under the same roof to further boost the performance and growth of the businesses.

Director, Marco Rebecchi, pictured right, added: “The expansion into the new offices have proven to be the right decision, ensuring that the businesses can collaborate more efficiently to better support delivery for our clients.

“Over the past year, we have expanded our teams and markets, became Living Wage accredited, supported the Kickstart scheme and Young Persons Guarantee, and continue to further develop our existing staff as they develop and grow.

“As we enter our third year of business, we have several new market opportunities that we continue to explore and look forward to further enhancing our overall service.”
