Temporal Travel Secures New Greenock Premises

A fast-growing luxury travel firm is celebrating after agreeing on a lease to expand into premises at Larkfield Industrial Estate in Greenock.

Temporal Travel, a family-owned bus company from Port Glasgow, had been searching for a base for its office and buses to enable the firm to continue with its current growth strategy.

The specialist coach-hire company operates a fleet of luxury coaches and chauffeur cars for corporate clients, including inbound tour operators, conference organisers and local authorities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Temporal Travel has signed a five-year lease for a 5,000 sq ft unit at Larkfield Industrial Estate, following support by Gourock-based commercial property firm, Bowman Rebecchi.

Larkfield Industrial Estate, which is owned by Inverclyde businessmen Sandy and James Easdale’s Dalglen Property Investments, enjoys high occupancy rates, with only one unit currently available across the vast 70,000 square feet site.

Temporal Travel owner (pictured), Thomas Temporal, said:

“We are delighted as It was vital for the long-term aims of the business that we were able to secure a headquarters for our coaches and staff to operate.

“The size of the unit is ideal for our needs and ensures we have additional space in the surrounding area to grow into over the coming months.

“We have had to adapt our business substantially as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, but we have managed this successfully, creating a broader range of clients for our coaches hence the need for more space.

“We’d like to thank Bowman Rebecchi for helping us to secure the premises quickly and efficiently, and we can now fully focus on further growth opportunities for the business.”

Andrew Bowman, Director of Bowman Rebecchi, said:

“Bowman Rebecchi is delighted to be able to support Temporal Travel with their search for new premises, and we wish Thomas and his team every success at Larkfield Industrial Estate.

“This is a significant industrial letting for the Inverclyde market, with large units like this one scarcely available, so it was important to be able to move quickly to support Temporal Travel’s aims.

“Larkfield is one of the most popular and highest occupied industrial estates in Inverclyde, and naturally we continue to see increased demand for the units.

“Overall, we continue to experience a significant level of interest in commercial property in Inverclyde, and this is another successful outcome as we move through the phases of emerging from lockdown.”
