Glasgow To Greenock/Largs Bus Route Named As UK's Third 'Most Scenic'

A Glasgow bus route has been chosen as one of the "most scenic" journeys in the UK.

A recent survey commissioned by over 50s life insurance firm SunLife analysed the Instagram hashtags of over 40 routes throughout the UK to reveal the most picturesque passenger experiences.

Securing an impressive third place was none other than the Clyde Flyer 901-906 by McGill's Buses.

A trip on the service takes travelers directly from Glasgow to Greenock and Largs passing by plenty of stunning views on the way.

SunLife described the voyage as "the perfect route to explore the beautiful coastline" with buses running up to every 15 minutes, every day throughout the year.

Scooping the top spot on the list was Leeds to York and Whitby followed by Brighton to Newhaven and Eastbourne at number two.
