New Beauticians Opens at High-quality Renovated Greenock Units

A new enterprise by a promising highly promising female beautician is celebrating after opening its doors in Eldon Street.

B Beautiful opened its doors to the public on Wednesday 18th November and is the creation of Greenock-based beauty therapist, Linzi Buchan.

Until recently, Linzi has been trading at Dalrymple Street through Linzi’s Nails & Beauty, with the new unisex salon providing a range of nail and beauty treatments to suit the needs of all.

Based at the site of the former J & G McGuffin newsagents, the premises were acquired earlier this year by local entrepreneurs, Bernie and Mariessa Devlin of Devlin Property Holdings.

The site has since undergone a complete overhaul, with the premises being fully renovated into two high-standard units at 450 square feet each.

Speaking of the new salon, Linzi said:

“It is fantastic to finally have my salon after years of hard work to get to this point, and to have something of this calibre is a dream come true.

“Through a lot of dedication and effort, I’ve managed to build a loyal and supportive customer base, and I’m delighted to have somewhere I can call my own.

“My clients have been fantastic throughout this year, and despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been able to continue to deliver our services in a safe and protective environment.

“I’d like to thank Devlin Property and Bowman Rebecchi for all of their support in making this possible.”

The units have seen considerable investment by Devlin Property Holdings, including new shop front, suspended ceiling, and steelwork internally to support the sub-division.

Reflecting on the finished product, Bernie said:

“This is now an excellent property which has benefited from a high-spec renovation and refit.

“To maximise the opportunity to local businesses, we decided to convert the space into two units offering flexible spaces for small business owners like B Beautiful.

“This has led to a lot of interest given the aspects across the Battery Park and Cardwell Bay, which provide an excellent environment for our tenants and clients alike.

“We wish Linzi every success and thank Bowman Rebecchi for their project management and for leading on the commercial letting process, and to GF Builders for their expert renovation works.”

The new tenancy represents the latest successful letting for Gourock-based commercial property services firm, Bowman Rebecchi.

Marco Rebecchi, Director of Bowman Rebecchi, said:

“The change in these units is remarkable to what was inherited by Devlin Property Holdings, and both Bernie and Mariessa can rightly be proud of their vision and finish.

“We would like to wish Linzi continued success with B Beautiful and expect the business to have a promising future.

“There continues to be a high level of interest in the final unit, and as a result, we expect to announce a new tenant imminently.”

B Beautiful is located at 313 Eldon Street in Greenock and is open to existing and new clients. For further details, click here.
