An offer has been accepted for a vacant strip of land at Rue End Street, Greenock which has been approved for a new drive-thru development.
Inverclyde Planning Board has previously granted permission in September 2021 for the £1.5 million development, which will include indoor seating for up to 40 customers.
The application was submitted by Dalglen Investments, owned by local businessmen Sandy and James Easdale, who purchased the half-acre site from Scottish Enterprise in 2018.
Bowman Rebecchi has been in discussion with a number of national operators, all of whom have shown an interest in the proposed development subject to planning consent being gained.
A bid has now been accepted for the site, subject to the completion of the missives, with further details to be released once the deal is complete.
