Uk Skincare And Beauty Expert To Open New Clinic In Gourock

A national skincare and beauty expert is celebrating after choosing Inverclyde as the new location for her fourth UK clinic.

Ashleigh Todd Aesthetics has taken a long-term lease for a modern unit at 82 Shore Street in Gourock, which was refurbished in 2019.

The Aesthetics Club Gourock is set to open next month and is the latest expansion for Inverclyde native Ashleigh Todd, following her other clinics in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Cookham in Berkshire, and Shawlands in Glasgow.

Ashleigh has been working in the aesthetics industry for over 12 years and is one of the leading UK skincare and beauty experts, offering a wide range of services including wrinkle-reducing injections, Platelet-rich plasma, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Cryolipolisis, and Dermal Fillers.

The medical clinic will be operated by qualified doctors and nurses and is regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland, which sets the clinic apart from many of its competitors.

Growing up in Greenock, Ashleigh attended Duncan of Jordanstone Art School and the University of West Scotland to complete a degree in Nursing Studies, before combining her medical experience and artistic ability to deliver quality aesthetic beauty treatments across the United Kingdom.

The latest clinic is a homecoming for Ashleigh, who has completed her long-term ambition to open a high-class clinic in Inverclyde.

Reflecting on the new salon, Ashleigh said: "I'm delighted to be opening the new clinic in Gourock especially now that we are nearing the completion of the fit-out works which have been extensive in line with Healthcare Improvement Scotland regulations.

"I've always held an ambition to open up one of my clinics in Inverclyde and now is a perfect time as we continue to grow.

Ashleigh's clinic in Glasgow is one of only four in Scotland awarded ‘Clinic of Excellence’ by Healthcare Improvement Scotland and her search for the new clinic was supported by local property firm, Bowman Rebecchi.

In addition to her practitioner qualifications, Ashleigh continues her team’s professional development by keeping up to date with the latest training, techniques, and procedures.

Ashleigh continued: "A number of the team are based in Inverclyde or around Glasgow, so the new location is really handy for them to be based.

"We have a large number of customers from the Inverclyde area that currently travels to our other clinics, so it makes sense to create a local clinic to help serve and grow our client base.

“I’ve been asked for a number of years by clients to open a clinic and I’m just delighted this property was available as it is a perfect fit for our aims.
