Wine Bar Plan Approved For Vacant Gourock Town Centre Premises

Inverclyde Planners have agreed that a Gourock shop can be turned into a wine bar.

Officials have approved a change-of-use application for the former Domus Interiors unit at 59 Kempock Street which is under new ownership.

The premises, which will also sell cold food, will be open from Noon to Midnight, seven days a week. The bar will have a capacity for 40 people.

The successful application was submitted by Rebecchi Architectural.

Planners stated: “The proposal would make use of an existing unit which would otherwise be vacant, and in economic development and employment terms this is welcomed.”
